Stockford Carol

 Stockford Carol

This is instrumental but I thought it would be fun to add lyrics. Changing lyrics is easier in the sense that the phrasing is already somewhat laid out, and sometimes a small adjustment is all that is required, playing off the words already there.

On through the frozen field I walked

Under the falling snow

Crunching and frozen crystals yield

Under footsteps falling slow

Under footsteps falling slowly on

And moving o'er solid ground

Moving over solid ground

The sugar plum fairies' hidden mound.

(refrain?)

We laugh and play

All through the day

And lift warm drinks at night

Again, again

The season sends

Good cheer and spirits light.

(Still working on 2 more verses)
